A learner at heart, I continue my own journey of learning and unlearning in attempt to educate myself through the heart and mindful practice. Over the years, this has led me to a few corners of the planet, discovering how we as humans make sense of the world and create meaning in our lives.
Taking on the roles of mother and wife have challenged my practice of mindfulness and continue to teach me more about myself. I have woven many practices and passions into my life including yoga, meditation, hiking, reading, cooking, gardening and sustainable living.
These principals of mindful living are reflected in my teaching practices. Giving students the tools to become aware of their emotions and thoughts and how to regulate them has so far proved to be a very rewarding path.
And so the journey continues…
